Vanco Donations

First Congregational Church accepts online donations through Vanco. Donors create accounts and define one-time or recurring donations. Vanco initiates deposits into our Simmons checking account on a regular basis, but it does not consistently group donations as bank deposits. This makes it necessary to match a typical 20 or so bank deposits to a typical 30 or so donations from Vanco.  

You will typically process a batch consisting of donations from the first through the last day of a month just ended. The process of importing the Vanco donations is outlined on Matching Vanco Donations to Bank Deposits. 

To support this matching process you may have to:

• Map Vanco Member Accounts to QuickBooks Donor Names

• Map Vanco Funds to Donation Categories

• Map Donation Categories to QuickBooks Products/Items
