Donor Statements
At the end of each quarter, Donation Statements should be sent out to all donors by either email or mail. These are created in the Donor Statements Google Sheet. It involves the following steps:
Creating Draft Email - The donor statement email template is stored as a draft message in the user's Gmail.
Exporting data from QuickBooks - QuickBooks reports are the basis of the data export used by this step.
Generating the Donor Statements - Emails and PDF Donor statements are created by this step.
The resulting Donor Statement PDFs are stored in the "Statements" subfolder as part of this process. You should take the time to organize the statements by the quarter ending date for which they were generated (e.g. Quarter ending 2024-06-30)
