Recording Amazon Purchase
Browse to the App transactions page of QuickBooks.
Browse to the App transactions page of QuickBooks.
For each purchase listed:
Category is office supplies or building/ground supplies
PO number is description such as coffee supplies or office supplies
Click on source/payee and download the order receipt by clicking on the blue order number. Name the downloaded file "Amazon_$$_description_yymmdd.pdf" where:
$$ is the cost of the order
description is a description of the item or items on the order
yymmdd is the date order was charged to account
Click on "Add" to add the purchase to QuickBooks
3. Go to Amazon Business Vendor Expenditures
View/edit expenditure
Add item details
Product/Service will be supplies<church
Description is description of the product
Enter amount of purchase
Copy description into memo box
Add receipt
Save and close
